District 9 Overview
Ohio District 9 Little League

Little League is the largest organized youth sports program in the world and the only Federally Chartered youth organization. It is truly a program of service to youth, adapted to the mental and physical capacities of children in a wide range of age groups.

Combining all sanctioned Little League participation, more than 2.6 million children participate each year. Programs include both softball and baseball.Through the efforts and leadership of the past and present Administrators of the 11 districts in Ohio, numerous volunteers at the district and local league levels have provided exceptional Little League values and programs for the youth of Ohio.

Ohio District 9 encompasses the following Ohio counties - Brown, Butler, Clermont, Clinton, Hamiton, Highland and Warren with 14 leagues, close to 7,000 players and 500 teams.  Our district supports player ages 4 through 16 in various divisions of play - Tball, Coach Pitch, Minors, Majors, Intermediate, Junior, and Senior.  Additional opportunities to play is provided for physically and mentally challenged children and youth. They are welcome and encouraged to participate in the well planned, safe, and fun-filled Challenger Programs in District 9.  

District 9 is administered and operated by an elected district administrator, Kevin Carey, who is assisted by an appointed staff of dedicated volunteers and league presidents. These volunteers are trained, competent, and experienced in the administration and operation of Little League programs.
